Inside Blinds acts as data controller and processor in respect of its customers' personal data.

In accordance with Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/AG (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “personal data” is defined as follows:

"any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person".

If this Privacy Policy refers to personal data, reference is made to this definition from the GDPR.

Where does your data come from?

We primarily process the data that you have communicated to us via the contact form on the website, when placing an order and via cookies.

We also collect your data on the basis of the use of our online services or obtained from third parties in performance of a (contractual) relationship with them or with you.

What data is processed?

The following personal data may be processed:

  • Surname;
  • First name;
  • Address details;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Location data;
  • Information about your activities on our website;
  • Any other personal data provided by you when creating a profile on our website.

Data indicated with a * are required to be communicated within the framework of the execution of an agreement between Inside Blinds and its customers. If a customer objects to the processing of such data, the agreement cannot be continued.

What is the purpose of processing your personal data?

Inside Blinds will process your data for advertising purposes, so that we can send you our newsletter and/or an inspiration package. For the aforementioned purposes, your personal data are processed on the basis of your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

To whom do we transfer your data?

What rights do you have?

Right of access and inspection

In accordance with the GDPR, you can, at any time, access your personal data free of charge, as well as determine the purposes for which Inside Blinds uses your personal data.

For this purpose, please send an application to info@insideblinds.com, accompanied by a copy of your identity document.

Right to correction, supplementation, deletion and restriction

You have the right to request Inside Blinds to correct, supplement, delete and restrict your personal data.

You can request the deletion of your personal data in the following instances:

  • if the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which these were collected;
  • if the consent to process the data is withdrawn and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
  • if an objection is made to the processing and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
  • if the processing is unlawful;
  • if the data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation;
  • if the personal data relate to a child and are obtained from an information provider.

You can ask for the deletion of your personal data in the following cases:

  • where you have disputed the accuracy of the personal data, within a period that allows Inside Blinds to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
  • when the processing is unlawful and you have requested its restriction;
  • when Inside Blinds no longer needs the personal data for the purposes for which they were collected, but you need the personal data for the establishment, exercise or substantiation of legal claims;
  • when you have objected to the processing of your personal data, pending the answer to the question whether Inside Blinds has legitimate grounds that outweigh your own.

Inside Blinds may refuse the removal or restriction if the personal data are necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, the performance of an agreement or its legitimate interest, and as long as these data are necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

Right to object

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.
