No, a dim-out fabric blocks a significant amount of light (80 to 90%), depending on the fabric color and window orientation. When a drape needs to be completely blackout, it's better to opt for a blackout lining. Inside doesn't sell blackout fabrics, but only drapes with a blackout lining.

What is a fire-retardant fabric?

The advantage of a flame-retardant fabric is that it acts as a fire retardant in case of fire. The fabric is treated with an agent that makes it much less flammable than untreated fabric. This is particularly necessary in buildings where many people gather (hotels).

No, the fabric of a roller shade cannot be cleaned. If you want to clean your curtains from time to time, it's best to choose Roman shades, draperies or window panels.

What is the maximum height-to-width ratio for roller shades?

Always consider the maximum height-to-width ratio per product type, as we cannot make exceptions in this regard. The maximum height-to-width ratio per product is always indicated in the price list and is also integrated into the ordering module.

Roller shades: maximum height = width x 3 (fabric is reduced by 1 cm if exceeded*)

*If you exceed the maximum height-to-width ratio for roller shades, two possibilities arise:

Option 1: Your entry cannot be processed. In the price list, you will not see a price indicated for your desired dimensions in this case. In the ordering module, you will not be able to finalize your order until you have entered a valid maximum height-to-width ratio.

Option 2: Your entry can be processed BUT the fabric is reduced by 1 cm to prevent fraying. In the price list, a price will be indicated for your desired dimensions, but it will be in the gray part of the price table, clearly indicating that you exceed the maximum height-to-width ratio. In the ordering module, you can finalize your order, but you will also receive a clear message about this.

What is the maximum height-to-width ratio for Roman shades?

Always consider the maximum height-to-width ratio per product type, as we cannot make exceptions in this regard. The maximum height-to-width ratio per product is always indicated in the price list and is also integrated into the ordering module.

For Roman shades: the maximum height is equal to the width multiplied by 5.

What is the maximum height-to-width ratio for window panels?

Always consider the maximum height-to-width ratio per product type, as we cannot make exceptions in this regard. The maximum height-to-width ratio per product is always indicated in the price list and is also integrated into the ordering module.

Can I deviate from the minimum size listed in the price list?

We regularly receive requests for drapes with dimensions smaller than the minimum size indicated in the price list. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions in this regard, even if the difference is minimal. These minimum dimensions have indeed been carefully studied and tested to ensure optimal quality. Therefore, we ask you to always take these dimensions into account.

In the online ordering module, you will automatically receive a notification if the dimensions you enter are smaller than the minimum dimensions. You will only be able to finalize your order after entering valid dimensions.
